Vulcan® Drying Systems install crew was on site in Louisiana a few days last week helping a customer install their Frac Sand Dryer. This system is capable of drying up to 300 tons of Frac Sand per hour.
Main process components of this dryer consist of: feed conveyor, primary treatment unit, discharge flap gate system, baghouse, and an induced draft fan.
