Vulcan® Drying Systems personnel commissioned a plant for a client in North Carolina to dry quicklime (calcium oxide, calcium hydroxide) in a rotary dryer. Dust control was necessary to avoid unnecessary pollution so a cyclone and baghouse were both provided. Vulcan® Drying Systems provided a complete turnkey system to accomplish these tasks.

The system was designed to process 25 TPH of quicklime. The system used a natural gas fired burner.
